Popular web design likes to crowd a whole bunch of information on each page. I personally find that hard to read. For people like me, cluttered pages are a recipe for ignoring most of the content. So I have worked hard to make Cornered Cat simple, clean, and easy to navigate.
Don't let the simplicity fool you. There is several years' worth of work here, and it's all easy to access. Start by looking to your left, at the navbar. You'll find three links there that will open the site up to you.
Home: You guessed it, that's the front page. My front page is where I make announcements, showcase new content, and provide some basic links to the important features. It's always worth checking into the homepage just to see what's going on.
Contents: My table of contents functions like a sitemap. Every major page on my site can be reached through the contents page. My goal is to make it easy for readers to navigate my site. Rather than just wander around following links from place to place in an aimless fashion wondering if you've missed the most important part, I've laid the content out in a sequential fashion. Simply start at the Introduction and work your way to the bottom, just like reading a book. Couldn't be easier than that!
Glossary: A work always in progress. The shooting world is full of technical words and specialized terms a lot of us who've been here awhile take for granted. Like most corporate jargon, the expressions commonly used among shooters can be very confusing, even bewildering, to the newcomer. I have tried to provide some basic definitions for these confusing terms, with an occasional extra dose of information suitable for the beginning to intermediate shooter. While the definitions you'll find in this glossary may not be complex enough or detailed enough to satisfy the hard-core enthusiast, they will give the beginning to intermediate shooter a solid place to start.
In addition to the menu items on the navbar, you will also find a navigation section at the bottom of every article. Simply following the prompts at the end of the articles will guide you through the site. It's as easy as reading a book. Simply turn the next page.
